David J. Gury, MBA
Chairman of the Board
Former Chairman and founding CEO of Nabi Biopharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: NABI), Mr. Gury began his career as a financial accountant with Abbott Laboratories rising to Director of Marketing Development with Abbott's Scientific Products Division. Following the organization of Alpha Therapeutic Corporation, Mr. Gury was Vice President, Plasma Operations. In May 1984, David J. Gury joined Nabi Biopharmaceuticals as President and Chief Operating Officer. He was elected Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President in April 1992 and served as President to 2002 and CEO until June 2003, and was instrumental in transforming Nabi into a fully integrated biopharmaceutical company. Mr. Gury is Chairman of Florida Research Consortium; past Chairman and member of BioFlorida; a past Director of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Greater Palm Beach County Chapter; Commissioner, Florida Emerging Technology Commission; Member, Biotechnology Industry Organization; and Member, Enterprise Florida - Technology, Entrepreneurship, Capital (TEC) Leadership Council. Mr. Gury received the Boca Chamber of Commerce 2002 Businessperson of the Year award and the Ernst & Young 2003 Entrepreneur of the Year award in the Health Sciences category. Mr. Gury completed his undergraduate work in economics at Kenyon College, Gambier, Ohio and received his Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Chicago, specializing in accounting and finance.

Jack B. Wilkens, MBA
Chief Executive Officer and Director
Jack has over 35 years of executive management experience. He is the former Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Consumer Diagnostics for Inverness Medical Innovations, Inc., (IMI) Waltham, Massachusetts. IMI is the leading point of care rapid diagnostic company worldwide with sales over $400 million and is the world's leading company in women's health diagnostics. Prior to the COO role, Jack was the Managing Director of Unipath, a wholly owned subsidiary of IMI, Inc. located in Bedford, England. During this period he led the expansion of sales in Women's Health diagnostics from $100 to $170 MM/year and led the launch of the IMI's digital pregnancy test the world's first consumer digital diagnostic test. From 2001 until 2003 he was Managing Director of IMI's and Johnson & Johnson's diabetes operations in Inverness, Scotland and responsible for IMI's European sales. The Scotland operation developed, manufactured and launched the world's leading blood glucose monitor. Sales expanded from zero to over 3 billion test strips sold today. Jack was VP of Medical Imaging Systems with Sterling Diagnostics/AGFA a $275 million per year business including the launch of three digital printing platforms. He also worked for Polaroid Corporation for many years in digital medical imaging, manufacturing, product development and marketing. He was responsible for the design, building and operation of Polaroid's digital imaging facilities, a $175 million investment and was involved in the conception, development and marketing of many instant imaging business systems. Jack has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University and an MBA from Western New England College.

Mead McCabe, Sr., Ph.D.
Founder, Chief Scientific Officer and Director
Mead received a B.S. in Zoology from Pennsylvania State University and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Miami. His research interests, developed during 27 years on faculty of the University of Miami School of Medicine, center on molecular biology and molecular mechanismsof microbial diseases. He was Chairman and Chief Scientific Officer of Genetic Vectors, Inc., a genomics company located in Miami, Florida. Mead also served as a consultant on numerous occasions for the U.S. National Institutes of Health, including four years as a member of the Oral Biology and Medicine Study Section. He holds over 20 patents.

Mead M. McCabe, Jr., MBA
President, Chief Financial Officer and Director
Mead has over 15 years experience in finance, start-up and technology oriented companies and is a management consultant in finance, business development and capital formation. In 1993 he joined Genetic Vectors and became CEO and CFO of the company which was a genomics company in Miami, Florida. He authored the company's strategic business plans, developing the strategy to spin the company out from its parent company through an IPO. In addition, he served as a founding board of directors member of BioFlorida and is a current member of the state's biotechnology trade organization. Prior to Genetic Vectors, Mr. McCabe was with Merrill Lynch as a financial consultant. He has a dual MBA in International Business and Finance from the University of Miami, Florida.

Richard R. Allen, CPA
Director
Co-founder of Regeneration Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:RTIX) in 1998, Mr. Allen developed the initial RTIX business plans and helped to negotiate the successful spin-off of the underlying RTIX technology from the University of Florida. As CFO of RTIX he negotiated the initial venture capital investments for the company and led the company's successful IPO in August 2000, raising $75 million. During his tenure as CFO he was responsible for finance, business development, IT, intellectual property and human resources. Mr. Allen has 28 years of experience in business and finance, including 16 years in executive leadership positions with technology-based businesses in the fields of engineering, electronics manufacturing, biomedical technology and medical device manufacturing. He is also licensed as a certified public accountant in the state of Florida.

John N. Spencer, Jr., MBA, CPA
Director
Mr. Spencer served a broad range of clients for more than 38 years at Ernst & Young LLP, including serving as coordinating partner for clients both large and small, principally in the life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing and technology industries. He began with Ernst & Young in Boston in 1962, worked in the Firm's National office in New York, served as the Managing Partner of the Providence, Rhode Island office before transferring to Atlanta in 1981, and most recently he was the Market Segment Team Leader for Ernst & Young's Life Sciences Industry Practice in the Southeast. Mr. Spencer retired from Ernst & Young in 2000. Active in Georgia's technology community, he served as president and a director of the Business and Technology Alliance ("B&TA"), was a cofounder and is treasurer of the Atlanta Venture Forum, an association of venture capital investors in the Southeast, and is the former President and a director of the Georgia Biomedical Partnership. He is also on the board of directors of BioFlorida, Inc., is a cofounder the Technology Hall of Fame of Georgia and, in January 2002, was awarded the Georgia Biomedical Partnership's First Annual award for being a principal architect of the biomedical community in Georgia. Mr. Spencer is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, and he serves as a member of the Board of Directors of A C Therapeutics, Inc. and is the Chair of the Audit Committee of Firstwave Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: FSTW). Mr. Spencer holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University, earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Babson College and completed the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.

John A. Teegen
Director
Mr. Teegen co-founded SNR Technologies, LLC a privately held, leading provider of wireless Internet services to the mobile user market, in 2002. In addition, he is the founding partner of Azure Domain, LLC a consulting and venture company started in 2001 that provides consulting services for startup companies in the areas of executive management, fund raising, business development, channel development, and compensation. The primary areas of focus of Azure Domain are semiconductors, networking, and optics. From 1997 to 2000 he was Vice President of Worldwide Sales for MMC Networks, a network processor company he joined in its pre-IPO stage and which was later acquired by AMCC, the world’s leader in network processors, for $4.5 billion. He was subsequently named AMCC’s Vice President of New Business Development and remained with the company until he founded Azure Domain in 2001. From 1994 through 1997, Mr. Teegen was Vice President of Worldwide Sales of Intellon Corporation, a company specializing in power line and RF silicon for the home networking market. He was instrumental in helping Intellon close a $20 million strategic investment from Compaq, Philips, AMP, Fidelity and others and he established a world-wide network of manufacturer’s representatives for Intellon. Prior to Intellon, Mr. Teegen held various executive and management positions at VLSI Technology from 1987 to 1994, successfully leading the company’s focus on digital video and set-top boxes. Mr. Teegen began his technology career in 1982 with Advanced Micro Devices where he was District Sales Manager through 1987. He is an advisory board member for Voyager Venture Partners, LLC, a founding member for Emergent Growth Fund, LLC, and a member of the Engineering Advisory Council for the University of Florida’s College of Engineering. Mr. Teegen completed his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Florida in 1982.
